ISN's Biennial Report 2009-2011 celebrates the members, people, and leadership that led to another successful two years for the Society. This report provides a comprehensive overview of ISN activities and highlights the Society's achievements in helping to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of kidney diseases in the developing and developed world.

During these two years, ISN played a crucial role in helping to advance kidney care world-wide by supporting education, science and patient health. It brought to fruition its philanthropic mission of providing global outreach programs in the emerging world, continuing development of top-notch scientific events, and providing its members access to one of the most cited scientific journals in nephrology.

Working in partnership with dedicated leaders and staff, as well as eliciting contributions from its members, ISN was able to successfully tackle some of its biggest challenges despite the global crisis that affected many medical associations globally.
