Mission Statement

To identify areas, places and themes in need of ISN GO Program participation and help foster the development of nephrology and improve renal care in Latin America.

The following major obstacles to the advancement of nephrology in the region have been identified by the Regional Subcommittee:

  • Marginalization of academic medicine leading to a lack of education.
  • Lack of efficient universal health coverage programs and preventive systems.
