Bishnu Pahari with colleaguesIn a recent study, ISN Fellowship and Publication Committee Chair David Harris commented on the impact of training nephrologists from developing countries. The report is now available online in Kidney International Supplements, CLICK HERE.

In an interview with Hemodialysis.com, David Harris also points to the impact of the ISN Global Outreach (GO) Fellowship Program. Read all the interview HERE.

On the findings of this study, he says that: "We were surprised at just how many of the trainees had gone on to leadership positions within a few years of their fellowship; 60% within their hospital, almost 30% within their country and 7% at an international level. Almost a third of fellows had been invited to deliver lectures overseas and more than a third had received national or international awards."
