Recognizing excellence in kidney care

The ISN proudly presents awards and prizes to honor exceptional contributions to kidney care at the World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) and regional events throughout the year.

2027 ISN Awards – Honoring outstanding achievements

In 2027, the ISN will recognize individuals making remarkable contributions to kidney care with the following prestigious awards:

The Lillian Jean Kaplan International Prize for excellence and leadership in clinical or basic research in polycystic kidney disease
Alfred Newton Richards Award for outstanding basic research in fields relevant to nephrology
Roscoe R. Robinson Award acknowledging achievements in the field of education in nephrology and medicine
Pioneer Awards to honor doctors who have made extraordinary efforts to advance nephrology in a specific country or region.

The nomination period is now closed. The ISN Awards Committee is currently reviewing all submissions. The 2027 ISN Awards recipients will be announced in upcoming months.

The 2027 winner of the Lillian Jean Kaplan Prize has been determined and will be announced shortly.
