.

Description of the Webinar

Latin America is a conglomerate of nations sharing a common Latin ancestry and languages. It extends from Mexico and Caribbean Islands (North) to Tierra del Fuego (South). The region is immersed in an uneven process of epidemiological transition and shows extreme social and economic disparities. ESRD have been growing steadily. The region faces challenges in identifying risk factors for CKD, early detection and prevention of CKD, reduction of incidence of ESRD and improvement of transplantation.
