Considering the world-wide situation, participants are strongly advised to make their own arrangements regarding health and travel insurance including loss of fees/deposit for travel and accommodation due to travel restriction changes (for example quarantine requirements), border opening changes. How to get to Bergamo

Bergamo is located in the north of Italy, in the Lombardy region at more or less 50 km from Milan.
Please find below some information on how to arrive to Bergamo. Please note that info might change. We advise delegates to verify the information before their departure.

From Orio al Serio Airport

Located only 5 km away, the Orio al Serio Airport is the closest airport to Bergamo city center. ATB buses (line 1) connect the airport to the city center with buses departing every 20 minutes just outside the airport. The nearest stop to the venue is “Train Station” located at 350mt. Bus tickets are 2,40 EUR when purchased at the ticket machine in Arrivals, or 3,00 EUR if purchased directly on the bus. More information available here.

From Milano Malpensa Airport – by train

Milan Malpensa Airport is located in Lombardy and is the largest international airport in Milan. It offers a wide range of destinations throughout the world.
Once in Malpensa, take a train or a bus to Milano Central station, a train connects Milano Central Station with Bergamo station with departures every hour. For more information about the trains, please visit Trenitalia website.

Malpensa Airport – Milano Central station:
By Train: the Trenord – Malpensa Express connects the airport to Milano Central station with departure every 30 minutes.
By Bus: Malpensa Shuttle, or Terravision, or Autostradale. 

From Milano Malpensa Airport – by bus
The Malpensa shuttle company organize buses connecting Malpensa airport to Bergamo city center (with transit through Orio al Serio Airport and Monza city center). For more information, please visit this website.

From Milano Linate Airport

By bus + train: various shuttle companies connect Linate airport to Milano Central station (Linate shuttle, AirBus). Train connects Milano Central Station with Bergamo station with departures every hour. For more information, please visit this website.
