Important note: Larger posters in a different orientation will not fit on the poster boards.<\/p>\n<p>The Congress Foyer opens on Thursday June 23, 2022 at 09:00 for poster presenters to mount their posters. Please have your poster mounted by 11:00. You may begin taking down your poster on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 13:10 and it must be completely removed by 13:40 latest. Posters that are not removed by 13:30 will be removed by the organizers and can, unfortunately, not be recovered.<\/p>\n<p>Please, do take note that there is no poster printing service on site. Spaces are included in the character count (tables and graphs do not count as characters if inserted as an image). Abstract authors\/co-authors\u2019 names and affiliations, and keywords do not count towards the 3,400-character allowance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Abstracts are structured: introduction, methods, results, conclusion.<\/strong> Tables, graphs, and pictures may be included (tables and graphs do not count as characters if inserted as an image).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Images must be in JPEG or PNG format<\/strong> (uploaded images cannot exceed 640w x 480h pixels and 1,5 Megabytes).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Case reports that present novel hypotheses, pathologies, treatments, or ethical issues are welcome.<\/strong> However, they are only likely to be selected if the originality is highlighted effectively.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Submitted abstracts must describe unpublished work<\/strong>, which is not already in press and which is not awaiting possible acceptance by any other society\/journal. Not printed abstracts book will be produced. <strong>Selected abstract presenters who fail to register by the deadline will have no abstract presented or published.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>If the presenting author is unable to present the abstract<\/strong>, another <strong>co-author can take their place as long as they are duly registered<\/strong> to the meeting. The presenting author must inform the meeting secretariat of the change at <a href=\"mailto:frontiers@theisn.org\">frontiers@theisn.org<\/a> no later than <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">April 5,\u00a0 2022<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Once you have submitted your abstract, you <strong>cannot withdraw or change your abstract<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>All copyrights<\/strong> are assigned to ISN.<\/li>\n<li><strong>All submitted abstracts will be considered for a poster or oral presentation session<\/strong>. However, only limited slots are available for oral presentations during the Frontiers Meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Post-submission:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>After your submission has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email within two business days. If you have data available for submission only after the regular abstract deadline, the Scientific Program Working Group would be interested to receive your submission and consider it for presentation at the ISN Frontiers 2022.<\/p>\n<p>If deadlines are respected, late-breaking abstracts will still be presented as a poster during ISN Frontiers 2022 and published in Kidney International Reports. Late-breaking abstracts are also still considered for potential oral presentations.<\/p>\n<p>A call for late-breaking abstracts will open October, 2021 and will close April 5, 2022. The call for late-breaking abstracts is NOT an extension of the general abstract submission deadline.<br \/>\nLate-breaking abstract submitters are<strong> required to submit &#8216;a placeholder abstract&#8217; during the regular submission period<\/strong> (deadline <strong>March 2, 2022<\/strong>). Please see instructions to submit a late-breaking abstract below.<\/p>\n<h3>Preparing a Late-breaking Abstract Submission:<\/h3>\n<p><strong><u>Abstract Requirements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Late-breaking abstracts should follow the standard abstract structure: introduction, methods, results and conclusions.<\/li>\n<li>Late-breaking abstracts should highlight novel and practice-changing studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>How to Submit a Late-breaking Abstract:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00a0To submit your \u2018placeholder\u2019 abstract, login into the Frontiers portal during the regular submission period (deadline March 2, 2022), and click on &#8220;My Abstract&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Follow the normal abstract submission procedure, once in the &#8220;Topic Selection&#8221; page, select &#8220;Late-Breaking Abstract&#8221; as topic.<\/li>\n<li>Should your abstract(s) be accepted, you will be notified on March 15, 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Post Submission:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Once your abstract is accepted, <strong>to update your abstract<\/strong>, you must send a letter of intent to <a href=\"mailto:frontiers@theisn.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">frontiers@theisn.org<\/a> no later than <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">March 29, 2022<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>The abstract submission portal will be temporarily re-open <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">until April 5, 2022<\/span> for authors to make updates .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;ISN Young Nephrologists Award&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;Abstract-submission-for-young-nephrologists&#8221;][vc_column_text]Young nephrologists who submit an abstract(s) for ISN Frontiers 2022 will be considered for the Young Nephrologist Award. The winner(s) will be recognized during one of the meeting sessions, and will be suggested as a possible speaker for future WCN, subject to topic relevance. In line with the usual abstract submission procedure, the chosen Young Nephrologist abstract(s) will also be considered for an oral abstract presentation during ISN Frontiers 2022.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a Young Nephrologist and would like to be considered for the aforementioned, <strong>select the checkbox to indicate you are a Young Nephrologist during the abstract submission process<\/strong>. Scientific studies and clinical activities must be performed in keeping with the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Istanbul on Organ Trafficking and Transplant Tourism.
