This presentation was given by Adeera Levin, Professor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and President of the International Society of Nephrology. It was presented at the ISN Nexus Symposium held April 14-17, 2016 whose theme was “Translational Immunology in Nephrology”. It was given as Keynote Lecture during the Opening Session.
