“Nephrology in developing countries”: ISN tells its story in The Lancet

Building sustainable and self-sufficient medical care in the developing world is the message that ISN is sending through a recent article published on April 12, 2014 in The Lancet.

Since the 1980s, ISN has used its resources for education and training to help advance nephrology in low-income and middle-income countries worldwide through five outreach programs. They reveal what can be achieved by a dedicated group of volunteers or other groups committed to helping patients and colleagues in developing countries.
