WCN 2015: abstract and travel grant deadline October 27, 2014

This October take the chance to apply for WCN 2015 travel grants and submit your abstracts for the upcoming World Congress of Nephrology 2015. The deadline for abstracts and travel grant applications is October 27, 2014. More information is available on www.wcn2015.org.

Abstracts

Do not miss out on sending your abstracts for the upcoming ISN World Congress of Nephrology (WCN), taking place in Cape Town, South Africa from March 13 to 17, 2014. Apply online before October 27, 2014.  Showcasing scientific work is a major part of the congress so if you are planning to submit any abstracts we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Travel grants

You can also apply for a travel grants for this congress. All the information is available online, including the application form. Do not register for the early bird rate if you are submitting a travel grant application. Should your Travel Grant application be unsuccessful, you will still be able to register at the early bird rate after the results are announced. CLICK HERE.

About the congress

Registration is also now open and the early registration rate is open until December 14, 2014, CLICK HERE for further information. WCN 2015 will feature a groundbreaking program with world-renowned faculty, authoritative and innovative keynote lectures, scientific theme tracks, pro and con debates, interactive case presentations/discussions, late breaking science and clinical trials sessions, interventional nephrology and renal pathology courses, and more.

This edition will offer some new features including pre-congress CNE sessions in French and English as well as a pre-congress Allied Health Professionals Symposium on Friday March 13, 2014. Themes for the symposium will focus on preventing chronic kidney disease progression and the case of kidney self-repair; AKI, CKD-MBD as it applies to dialysis nurses; vascular access and its appropriate care; and oral abstract presentations from nurses, technicians and dietitians. Opportunities for allied health professional submitters exist for additional presentations during this symposium.
