Kidney International Reports is launched

ISN is happy to announce the launch of ISN’s new Journal: Kidney International Reports (KI Reports). KI Reports is designed to be a sister journal of Kidney International published in open access format.

KI Reports will publish a broad range of articles encompassing clinical and translation research. Jai Radhakrishnan, Founding Editor of Kidney International Reports, says: “Additionally we encourage the submission of articles describing study protocols, phase I trials, meta-analyses and systematic reviews of the current literature. We will also welcome research articles in education, socio-medical sciences, public health, and pharmacology, as they relate to nephrology and patient care.”

“We envisage that KI Reports will be a suitable home for national and regional guidelines and reports from key meetings and symposia. Being open access, the journal’s articles will be available for all to view and download free of charge. There will be a discounted processing charge for authors who are ISN members. Some articles from regions considered economically distressed (e.g. per the WHO/HINARI guidelines) may have submission charges waived.”
