The ISN-H4KH research initiative called for candidates from all disciplines relevant to kidney disease (clinical, health services and population health disciplines) to apply for a 12-month fellowship at Danone Nutricia Research, in Palaiseau (Paris area) in France to work with the Hydration and Health Department and other scientific networks to expand the level of evidence and awareness on the impact of drinking water on kidney health.
Each application was reviewed by the ISN-H4KH Review Committee. The selection of the most deserving applicant was based upon an objective and fair scoring systems reflecting various factors such as past experience and achievements, the training plan and its impact.
Danone Nutricia Research and the ISN have collaborated to create the ISN-H4KH research initiative to stimulate the interest of established and new researchers to explore the role of hydration in kidney health.
