Apply for the ISN-KI Editorial Fellowship Featured

Learn how to critically assess a manuscript, work as part of a team to evaluate the priority of manuscripts in a broader context, and discover how to manage the editorial responsibilities of a highly cited, reputable speciality journal.

The ISN-KI Fellowship is a non-funded position, designed for early career professionals and academics working in the field of nephrology, dialysis and transplantation.

There are currently two Early Career Nephrology Fellows position available for applicants with experience in clinical and basic science nephrological research.

Each Fellow will be supervised by an Associate Editor and/or the Editor-in-Chief of Kidney International and Kidney International Reports during 12 months of training.

To be eligible to apply, you must:

  • Be from any of the ISN regions and an ISN member of good standing
  • Have a PhD and/or equivalent higher degree
  • Hold a research portfolio in clinical and/or basic nephrological research
  • Be in the early stages of your research career (no more than 7 years after receiving your doctorate or higher degree).

When subnitting your application, you must supply:

  • A letter of introduction that explains your reason for applying
  • An up-to-date Curiculum Vitae with references.

The closing date for the Expression of Interest is May 31, 2019. All applications must be sent to germaine.wong@health.nsw.gov.au.
