Nominations are open for the TRFP Fellowship Featured

The Translational Research Fellows Program (TRFP) is an exciting collaboration between the Institute for Systems Biology and Providence (Rhode Island, USA) St. Joseph Health that leverages respective systems-based research and clinical expertise. Nominations are now open.

The Division of Nephrology, University of British Columbia is pleased to offer a position in the Advanced Training in Nephrology Clinical Fellowship Program.

It was great to receive so much feedback from the Global Education Survey we sent out recently. Many thanks to everybody who got involved. It gave us great insight and will be very valuable input to develop and improve our future training activities and initiatives. More details on the results will follow.

Exciting times for learning

Moving from a traditional classroom to an exciting, widely interactive and community-based online learning platform, the ISN Academy portal and app focus on quality and variety of content for everybody’s training needs.

The American Society of Nephrology (ASN), the European Renal Association–European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA), and the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) have published a survey to look into how nephrologists across the world are trained, and the scope of patient services they offer. Get involved by completing the survey online.

ISN welcomes 99th Affiliated Society Featured

A warm welcome to the Congolese Society of Nephrology, our 99th Affiliated Society! As a relatively young Society, it plans to extend its membership to nephrologists in the northern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where there are currently no nephrologists.

Send your submissions to KI Reports Featured

Kidney International (KI) Reports is now accepting submissions, especially relating to clinical trials, epidemiology, systematic reviews and outcome research.

ISN is taking extra steps to increase its impact on kidney care in low-resource countries and is delighted to announce that doctors, scientists, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, social workers, and technicians from countries categorized by the World Bank as low income can now join ISN as free members and receive ISN member benefits.

In November 2015, during ASN Kidney Week, we organized our regular Affiliated Society meeting to gather all representatives so they could learn more about ISN and strengthen partnerships or create valuable training opportunities for nephrologists.
