Register COVID-19 cases on the CORONATION Registry

The CORONATION registry continues to recruit worldwide. Any COVID-19 case is eligible. We are particularly keen to collect information on patients with chronic kidney disease, kidney transplants, or those receiving dialysis.

Our web-portal is simple to use:

  • You can quickly register a case and then come back up to 12 months later to fill in more detailed information about management and follow-up as it becomes available.
  • If you need help with local ethics applications, we can provide information and support. By submitting cases, you are confirming these are in place or are not required in your region.
  • We don’t want to duplicate work or replace national registries – we want to collate the data that risks being missed. If you have a similar national registry, please report through that.
  • It may be that you have collated data within just your hospital or clinic – we have a bulk upload facility to help incorporate that data into CORONATION and can offer advice and support to help the data uploading process.

We recognize clinicians around the world are busy and that this is not part of their usual duties. All individuals who contribute cases will become members of the ‘CORONATION Contributor Consortium’ (CORONATION-CC) and be cited as authors on all publications using CORONATION data. Full authorship will be offered to individuals with > 50 completed cases. Any member of the treating team can register cases – nurses, doctors, medical students, etc.

If you have any questions or would like to receive additional information about the CORONATION project, please contact the team at add-tr.coronation@nhs.net.
