The grant program encourages equitable access to the congress, providing support to ISN members with limited funds to attend WCN\u201922.<\/p>\n<p>The WCN&#8217;22 grant program supports <strong>88 participants<\/strong> from around the globe.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=&#8221;WCN&#8217;22 grant program supported by&#8221; style=&#8221;solid&#8221; element=&#8221;h6&#8243;][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-923 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/wcn\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/09\/CREED-logo2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"173\" height=\"68\" \/>[\/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion color=&#8221;blue&#8221; spacing=&#8221;5&#8243; gap=&#8221;5&#8243; c_position=&#8221;right&#8221; active_section=&#8221;1&#8243; collapsible_all=&#8221;true&#8221; el_class=&#8221;accordion-isn&#8221;][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Grant criteria&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;criteria&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/join-the-isn\/become-a-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>ISN members<\/strong><\/a> (ISN Full Individual member, ISN Joint Group member, or ISN Trainee) <strong>residing in a low or lower-middle-income country as defined by the ISN Low and Lower-Middle Income list (access the list <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/wcn\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/08\/Low-Lower-Middle-Income-Countries.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>)<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<em><u>Exceptions<\/u><\/em><u>:<\/u> Current ISN Fellows training in higher-income countries, ISN Sister Center Program (SPC) participants from supporting centers.<\/li>\n<li>If you have received three previous grants to attend ISN events, <strong>you are no longer eligible to apply.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Priority is given to:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Members presenting an approved abstract at WCN&#8217;22<\/li>\n<li>Members of 40 years and younger (born in 1981 and after)<\/li>\n<li>Past and present ISN Fellows, SPC participants, those enrolled in the ISN Mentorship Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>Not an ISN Member yet?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you want to apply for a grant but are not yet an ISN member, you can become a member\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/join-the-isn\/become-a-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>ISN offers free and discounted membership to those from low and lower-middle income countries and young nephrologists.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that ISN membership does not automatically guarantee acceptance for a grant application.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Grants [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The World Congress of Nephrology 2022 (WCN\u201922) offers a virtual grant program to ISN members residing in low and lower-middle income countries (see the list here).
