It is sole responsibility of the travel grant recipients to book their travel and accommodation. Recipients are encouraged to book early once accepted and to not leave booking to the last minute.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/wcn\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/09\/ISN-Regions-and-Country-List.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Download the list of countries in each region.<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Travel Grant Criteria&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;criteria&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/join-the-isn\/become-a-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>ISN members<\/strong><\/a> (ISN Full Individual member, ISN Joint Group member, or ISN Trainee) <strong>residing in a low or lower-middle-income country as defined by the ISN Low and Lower-Middle Income list, found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/join-the-isn\/become-a-member\/member-categories\/#worldbankclassification\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><br \/>\n<em><u>Exceptions<\/u><\/em><u>:<\/u> Current ISN Fellows training in higher-income countries, ISN Sister Center Program (SPC) participants from supporting centers.<\/li>\n<li>If you have received three previous grants to attend ISN events, <strong>you are no longer eligible to apply.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Priority is given to:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Members presenting an approved abstract at WCN&#8217;23<\/li>\n<li>Members of 40 years and younger (born in 1982 and after)<\/li>\n<li>Past and present ISN Fellows, SPC participants, those enrolled in the ISN Mentorship Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>Not an ISN Member yet?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you want to apply for a travel grant but are not yet an ISN member, you can become a member <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/join-the-isn\/become-a-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>ISN offers free and discounted membership to those from low and lower-middle income countries and young nephrologists.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that ISN membership does not automatically guarantee acceptance for a travel grant application.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Travel Grants [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The travel grant application is now closed.
