The pre-congress courses (April 13, 2024) are subject to additional fees (see the table below). The fees for the international delegates are exempt from local VAT and taxes.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text] The Pre-congress courses, including the Interventional Nephrology course and the Primer Course in Glomerular Diseases (scheduled for April 13, 2024), are not included in the congress fees and must be purchased separately. Payment in any other currency will not be accepted. The invoicing address can be set up during the online registration process. Invoices are generated automatically once the payment is finalized. It is not possible to change invoicing or invoice data once the payment is finalized.<\/strong> Make sure to update your invoice address and data during the online registration process.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of the online registration request. The prices indicated are only applicable if both the registration request and the payment are received before midnight, Central European Time (GMT +1), on the relevant registration deadline date, otherwise, the higher registration fee will be applied.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) can be securely made online. We recommend not <\/span>providing<\/span> credit card details by email or phone.<\/span> Payment by bank transfer is accepted <\/span>until<\/span> <\/span>March 30, 2024. After March 30, 2024, any outstanding amounts must be paid by credit card. <\/span><\/span>Cash payments are <\/span>not<\/span> possible.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”INSTRUCTIONS FOR GROUP REGISTRATIONS”]<\/p>\n Group registrations are available for a minimum of <\/span>10 people<\/span><\/b>. Group registrations are only accepted online. We do not accept registrations via email or telephone.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n One individual may be appointed as the main contact. Only this person should facilitate the group registration and will receive information and updates from the ISN Registration Team. This main contact must first create an account for her\/himself (if s\/he has not one already) to login into the online registration portal. Once successfully logged in, the main contact may request a group registration by indicating the number of registrations required for each registration category. Please note that no members\u2019 names or other info are requested at this stage.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Once the payment is received, each member of the group will instructions to upload their individual details. These details should include the delegate’s title, first name, last name, organization, country, and personal email address.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n All group members are required to upload their details no later than April 1, 2024<\/strong>. It is important to note that the main contact person is not automatically included as one of the group delegates. If the main contact person wishes to participate in any WCN congress activities, they must register either as part of the group or separately.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The group contact person (or an authorized representative) will collect congress badges and materials for the entire <\/span>group,<\/span> and it is his\/her sole responsibility to distribute them to each individual delegate. Collecting group congress materials is scheduled for <\/span>Friday<\/span> April <\/span>1<\/span>2<\/span>, 2024<\/span>,<\/span> between 16:00 and 19:00 and for <\/span>Saturday<\/span> April <\/span>1<\/span>3<\/span>,<\/span> 202<\/span>4<\/span>,<\/span> between<\/span> 0<\/span>9<\/span>:00 and 12:00 ONLY (based on pre-arranged appointments). The Congress organizers will not be held responsible shall the group contact person fail to distribute congress badges and material to the delegates.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”CANCELLATION OR CHANGES TO CONFIRMED REGISTRATIONS”]<\/p>\n Name changes\/replacements <\/strong> Non-attendance\/no show \u00a0<\/strong> Double payment\/overpayment\u00a0<\/strong> In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, the organizers shall be entitled to cancel or modify the dates of the congress. Registered participants shall not be entitled to seek compensation for any costs or damages incurred because of such cancellation or change other than the registration fee paid. The organizers will not be liable for any theft or damage to property and\/or persons caused on site during the congress, by any factor whatsoever, unless there has been a fault, intent, or deliberate recklessness on the part of the organizers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”LANGUAGE AND TRANSLATION”]The official language of the congress is English. However, an AI-assisted live translation will be available onsite. WCN participants will have, via their mobile, <\/span>real<\/span>-time access to translated audio, subtitles, session transcripts, and same-language captions in over 30 languages. For more information, please click <\/span><\/span>here<\/span><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”LETTER OF INVITATION”]This letter is available to help participants obtain funds or absence approvals.<\/span> It does not imply a commitment on the part of the organizers to <\/span>provide<\/span> any support, financial or otherwise. A letter of invitation will be available to the registered delegates who have completed payment of their registration fees only. These \u2018Invitation Letters\u2019 can be downloaded on the online registration portal. This letter cannot be used to apply for the visa.<\/span><\/span> Please check our\u00a0Visa and Passport<\/a>\u00a0page, should you need an invitation letter for Visa purpose.<\/span>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”DATA PRIVACY”]Data collected by the organizers will only be used to manage your registration for the congress and to provide you and other participants with relevant information about your attendance. Data may be shared with the hosting societies and session chairs for planning purposes but will never be shared with other third parties without your expressed and recorded consent.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Information collected during the registration process will be used to process your purchase and manage the congress and related events as well as ensure you receive an invoice, congress badge, invitation letter, and certificate of attendance where appropriate. Without this information, we will be unable to properly process your registration. The recipients of the data are the WCN organizers and official registration vendor (Anderes Fourdy Events). Data will be stored and used in a secure environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In accordance with the chapter 3 of the European Regulation 2016\/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from the WCN organizers, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data. For such a request, please contact the WCN Registration team <\/span>registrationswcn@theisn.org<\/span><\/a> (be aware that proof of identity will be requested during the process).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n During in-person congresses, by providing the event badge to third party exhibitors\/industry symposia at the event, participants explicitly consent to the transfer of their identification and contact data to such exhibitors\/industry symposia for research and direct marketing purposes. If participants do not want to share data to exhibitors, they should not provide their badge for scanning at the booth\/symposium room.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) will be taking photos during its in-person congresses. These images will be used by the ISN to share news about the congress and promote future congresses. Images may be used on the ISN website, in ISN news, printed publicity and published on the ISN\u2019s social media and e-mails. They will be stored securely on the ISN server. \nIn case of double payment or over payment, an administrative fee of 50 USD is applicable on the refund.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE”]Registered and paid participants will be able to download a certificate of attendance. This certificate is only made available on the WCN Registration Portal, after the congress.
