{"id":2890,"date":"2023-12-18T16:38:42","date_gmt":"2023-12-18T16:38:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/wcn\/?page_id=2890"},"modified":"2024-04-30T11:29:21","modified_gmt":"2024-04-30T11:29:21","slug":"accreditation-and-credits","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.theisn.org\/wcn24\/program\/accreditation-and-credits\/","title":{"rendered":"Accreditation and credits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The <strong>ISN World Congress of Nephrology, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 13\/04\/2024-16\/04\/2024<\/strong> has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>) with <span style=\"font-family: Basier-circle-bold-webfont, sans-serif\"><b>20.5 <\/b><\/span>European CME credits (ECMEC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>s).<\/p>\n<p>Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he\/she actually spent in the educational activity.<\/p>\n<p>Through an agreement between the Union Europ\u00e9enne des M\u00e9decins Sp\u00e9cialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org\/education\/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.<\/p>\n<p>Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> for EACCME<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Please find below the breakdown of EACCME<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>s per day:<\/p>\n<p>April 13, 2024 &#8211; <strong>6.0<\/strong><br \/>\nApril 14, 2024 &#8211; <strong>5.5<\/strong><br \/>\nApril 15, 2024 &#8211; <strong>5.5<\/strong><br \/>\nApril 16, 2024 &#8211; <strong>3.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The EACCME<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> awards ECMEC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>s on the basis of 1 ECMEC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> for one hour of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>s per day. Cf.
