The ISN Frontiers Meeting in ‘Complement-related kidney diseases: classification, genetics, and treatment’ is planned as an in-person meeting.

The meeting will operate with enforced sanitary precautions and will be compliant with all other COVID-19 related safety measures including maximum social distancing.  The organizers closely monitor developments, consult with local partners, and follow advice from national and international authorities in ensuring a secure and safe environment. The ISN 2022 Frontiers Meeting ‘Complement-related kidney diseases: classification, genetics and treatment’, Bergamo, Italy, 23/06/2022-25/06/2022 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 17 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Please find below the breakdown of ECMEC®s per day:

June 23, 2022 – 5.00

June 24, 2022 – 8.00

June 25, 2022 – 4.00

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 1 ECMEC® for one hour of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. Cf. Chapter X of UEMS 2016.20.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
