Founded in 1980, it is a non-profit academic organization dedicated to advancing nephrology in China through scientific research, clinical education, professional collaboration, and the promotion of kidney disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

The Dalian Medical University
The Dalian Medical University was founded in 1947, and has developed into a multidisciplinary medical university with medicine as its core and coordinated development in science, engineering, management, arts, law, and philosophy. It is one of the universities designated for key development under the First-Class University Initiative of Liaoning Province.
The University currently has more than 10,490 faculty members, administrative staff, and medical professionals. It operates four directly affiliated hospitals, which provide approximately 5.67 million outpatient and emergency visits and 273,000 inpatient admissions annually.
