Visa & passport
If you plan to attend the ISN Frontiers Meeting in Dalian, please review your visa requirements early and begin the application process as soon as possible, if required.
Based on bilateral agreements signed or reached between China and foreign countries, foreign citizens of some countries who meet certain requirements may visit China without a visa. Please visit “List of countries covered by unilateral visa exemption policies” for more information.
Foreign nationals from 55 countries are currently eligible for the 240-hour transit visa-free policies. Please visit News National Immigration administration for more information.
If you do not belong to any of the two circumstances above, you are required a visa to enter the People’s Republic of China.
