The Professor Donal O’Donoghue, Global Kidney Policy Forum

Join us for the Professor Donal O’Donoghue, Global Kidney Policy Forum at the 2025 World Congress of Nephrology on Thursday, February 6th, 2025 from 2.15 pm until 4.15 pm IST at the ICCA Dwarka Parijat Hall 201 – Level 2F.

The 2025 Professor Donal O’Donoghue Global Kidney Policy Forum (PDOGKPF) spotlights the growing kidney disease burden in South-East Asia and will discuss strategies to prevent and manage it locally and globally under the theme “Bridging Gaps and Building Sustainable Solutions.”

The Policy forum brings together top decision-makers—health ministry officials, WHO leaders, nephrologists and professional health care providers, patients, and global health NGOs—to explore kidney health solutions, from addressing social determinants and strengthening primary care to advancing end-stage treatment, transplants, and conservative kidney care.

Format:

This year’s Professor Donal O’Donoghue Global Kidney Policy Forum will feature a dynamic two-hour session with two expert panels and interactive Q&A discussions. The first panel dives into kidney health in India, while the second showcases best practices from across South-East Asia, all framed by the 10 Recommendations established at the inaugural 2017 Forum in Mexico City.
