In its 12th edition, the World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) is the annual scientific, educational, and networking meeting of the International Society of Nephrology. The WCN features symposia, presentations, training programs, and courses, to offer the latest science and state-of-the-art education in the field of nephrology. In addition to its educational purpose, WCN is an opportunity to meet experts and peers from around the world to share ideas and best practices.

The ISN is proud to bring the congress to South East Asia, ensuring that kidney disease understanding, and awareness will continue to progress in the region. The 2022 World Congress of Nephrology (WCN’22) is hosted by the Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology (APSN) and the Malaysian Society of Nephrology.

Promoting inclusivity and equitable access, WCN’22 will open the congress to thousands of participants, including the world’s leading experts in kidney health care, to exchange the latest science and discuss the newest clinical applications designed to improve kidney health and prevent kidney disease worldwide.

WCN’22 and COVID-19

The safety and well-being of our members, their patients and the public remains our primary concern. In response to the continuing pandemic and in full collaboration with the hosts and the Local Organizing and Scientific Program Working Groups, WCN’22 will be accessible in the safest possible environment, either in-person and/or virtual.
