Kazutoshi Mori is a distinguished professor at the Institute for Advanced Study, Kyoto University. He earned his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from Kyoto University in 1987, following his graduation in 1981.
His academic and research career spans several decades, including appointments at Gifu Pharmaceutical University and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center as a postdoctoral fellow, as well as key research leadership roles at the HSP Research Institute in Kyoto.
He later served as an associate professor at Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Biostudies and as a professor of biophysics at its Graduate School of Science. Professor Mori’s work continues to advance the field of molecular and cellular biophysics.
