The World Congress of Nephrology 2021 (WCN’21) is organized by the International Society of Nephrology (ISN), hosted by the Canadian Society of Nephrology (CSN) and la Société Québécoise de Néphrologie (SQN).
The organizers are adjusting to the reality that will impact the format of the congress. We continue planning WCN’21 to deliver the high-quality educational experiences and opportunities for scientific discovery, networking, and professional development that you have come to expect.
The WCN brings together thousands of the world’s leading experts in kidney health care to present the most recent advances, exchange the latest science and discuss the newest clinical applications designed to improve kidney health and prevent kidney disease.
WCN and COVID-19
The latest information on developments related to COVID-19 that impact WCN’21 will be posted here.
Update August 2020: Planning for WCN’21 remains on schedule and we are hopeful to be able to gather in-person in Montreal in April 2021. We are making sure that the entire scientific community from around the world is able to connect at WCN’21 through innovative new congress formats that encourage synergies between online and in-person learning, exchange and networking. The congress will operate with enforced sanitary precautions and will be compliant with all other COVID-19 related safety measures including maximum social distancing. We closely monitor developments, consult with our hosts and local partners, and follow advice from national and international authorities in ensuring a secure and safe environment.
