Dr. Yoko Shirai is a pediatric nephrologist in the department of pediatric nephrology at Tokyo Women’s Medical University, in Tokyo, Japan. She is actively engaged in clinical care, research, and education in pediatric nephrology, with particular expertise in glomerular diseases, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplantation. She is also involved in international collaborative research. She has received several prestigious awards, including the Jikei University Alumni Association Award and the Clinical Scientist Award (CSA) from the Japanese Society of Nephrology.
