Dr. Yosuke Hirakawa is a nephrologist in the division of nephrology and endocrinology of the University of Tokyo Hospital, in Tokyo, Japan. He is engaged in both clinical practice and translational research in kidney diseases. His research interests include hypoxia detection, comprehensive metabolomics, and trans-omics approaches aimed at elucidating disease mechanisms and identifying novel biomarkers in kidney disease. His work focuses on integrating multi-omics data with clinical phenotypes to advance precision nephrology. As a reviewer, he is particularly interested in studies spanning clinical nephrology with omics technologies. He is committed to providing constructive and timely peer review to support scientific rigor and the development of high-quality research.
