European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®)
The ISN World Congress of Nephrology, Yokohama, Japan 28/03/2026 – 31/03/2026, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 20.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form. Cf. criteria 22 of UEMS 2023.07.
Please find below the breakdown of EACCME®s per day:
- March 28, 2026: 8.0
- March 29, 2026: 4.5
- March 30, 2026: 4.5
- March 31, 2026: 3.5
The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 0,5 ECMEC® for 30 minutes of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. cf. Chapter XIII of UEMS 2023.07.

American Medical Association – AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Board Certified Nephrologist of the Japanese Society of Nephrology accreditation (腎臓専門医単位 / Jinzou Senmoni)
The ISN World Congress of Nephrology, Yokohama, Japan, 28/03/2026-31/03/2026, has been accredited by the Clinical Nephrology Board Examination of the Japanese Society of Nephrology (JSN), and is valid for JSN members attending the Congress.
Each participant will be eligible to receive 15 credits for attending WCN’26 (onsite, online, or both).
Following the conclusion of WCN’26, JSN will verify member attendance and award credits a few months later.
Onsite participants are required to scan their badges at the designated scanning stations.
