By registering to the congress, participants understand that WCN, and all content therein, is designed exclusively for qualified medical professionals and that, in line with current healthcare industry regulations, participants confirm to be qualified to access WCN content.
What is included in the individual and group registration
- Complimentary access to WCN courses, excluding:
- The Interventional Nephrology course, which requires separate registration and can be purchased for USD 165
- The Masterclass in Glomerular Diseases course, which requires a separate registration and can be purchased for USD 150
- Full access to all scientific and industry sessions
- Access to live streaming of all sessions in the Plenary Hall taking place from April 1-4, with live transcription provided in English, and 60+ languages
- Entry to the exhibition and poster areas
- Networking activities, including an invitation to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Networking Reception (April 1)
- 30-day access to WCN’27 content on-demand after the congress – ISN members get unlimited access.
- Allied Health Professionals (AHP) who are not registered to WCN but wish to attend the AHP course only may do so for a fee of USD 100
WCN organizers cannot guarantee entry into all scheduled elements of the program. All seats in the venues used are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
What is included in the virtual registration (available starting January 14, 2027)
- Live streaming of all sessions in the Plenary Hall taking place from April 1-4, with live transcription provided in English, and 60+ languages
- Access to the e-Poster area on our WCN’27 website
- 30-day access to WCN’27 content on-demand after the congress – ISN members get unlimited access.
Fees, payment and invoicing
- All fees are in USD. Payments in other currencies are not accepted.
- Invoice information (address and personal data) must be set up during registration; changes cannot be made after payment completion.
- Fees are determined by the date both the registration request and payment are received. Prices indicated applied until midnight midnight, Central European Time (GMT +1) of the date.
- Payment by bank transfer is accepted until March 18, 2027. Cash payments are not accepted.
Cancellation or changes to confirmed registrations
Any cancellation or change to your registration must be communicated by email to the registration team at [email protected] and will be subject to the following conditions:
- On or before March 3, 2027. The registration fee will be refunded, minus an administrative charge of USD 150.
Please note: If the registration fee is less than USD 150, no refund will be issued. - After March 3, 2027: No refunds will be issued.
Refunds for cancelled registrations will be processed after WCN’27.
- On or before March 3, 2027: Replacements or name changes may be made free of charge.
- After March 3, 2027: Replacements or name changes will incur an administrative fee of USD 50.
Should a registered delegate be unable to attend the congress for any reason, no reimbursement or waiver of fees will be granted.
Your WCN registration includes 30-day access to WCN’27 content on-demand after the congress even in the case of a no-show.
In the event of a double payment or overpayment, as listed below, an administrative fee of USD 50 will be deducted from the refund.
If you have multiple invoices associated with your WCN account, please carefully select only the invoices you intend to pay on the “Confirm & Pay” page (you can tick/untick the invoices that you want/do not want to pay). In case of payments made for abstracts or registrations that were not intended to be paid, the overpayment (for abstracts) and cancellation policies (for registrations) apply.
If you are an ISN member but only non-member fees are displayed, please do not proceed with registration and contact the Membership team at [email protected]. If you proceed and pay the non-member fee, the difference may be refunded upon confirmation of your membership, less a USD 50 administrative fee.
Abstract presenter registration
Presenting authors must register for the congress by January 13, 2027, to have their abstract published on Kidney International Reports® and to present a poster. Failure to register by this date will result in the abstract not being published or presented. Abstract presenters must register using the same email, if they fail to do so and do not communicate the change of email to the abstract team, the abstract might not be published in Kidney International Reports® or presented onsite. Changing abstract presenting author
If the presenting author is unable to attend, a co-author may present the abstract instead, provided they are registered.
The original presenter must inform the abstract team at [email protected] of the change by January 13, 2027 and provide the registration number of the new presenting author at the same time. Failure to do so will result in abstract withdrawal. No exception. Read abstract submission conditions

Certificate of attendance
Registered and paid participants will be able to download a certificate of attendance. The certificate will be available exclusively on the ISN Events Portal after the congress. Further information regarding certificates will be shared closer to the event.
Note: Delegates with uncompleted profiles at the ISN Events Portal will not be able to download their certificate of attendance. We urge participants registered by third parties or under group registrations to make sure their profiles are completed before the congress.
General liability and insurance disclaimer
WCN’27 organizers reserve the right to modify the congress program, schedule, or related elements at any time. Information published on the congress website is subject to change or substitution. Delegates are encouraged to regularly consult the official website (www.theisn.org/wcn) for updates. No additional claims or fee waivers will be accepted should program modifications be required.
In the event of serious unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, the organizers may cancel or reschedule the congress. Registered participants will not be entitled to compensation for costs or damages arising from such changes, except for reimbursement of the registration fee paid.
The organizers accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage to property, or for injury to persons during the congress, except in cases of proven fault, intent, or gross negligence on their part.
Participants are strongly advised to make their own arrangements regarding health and travel insurance (including loss of fees/deposit for travel and accommodation through cancellation of the Congress). The organizers of the ISN World Congress of Nephrology do not take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance
Code of conduct
- Be respectful, inclusive, and collaborative.
- Refrain from offensive language or conduct.
- Do not record presentations or discussions without explicit consent.
Violations may result in removal from the event without refund and exclusion from future ISN events. Report inappropriate behavior to [email protected].
Data privacy
- Data will be used only to manage your registration and participation at WCN.
- Data may be shared with hosting societies/session chairs for planning but will not be given to third parties without consent.
- ISN and its vendor (Anderes Fourdy Events) will store and process data securely.
- Under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting [email protected] (proof of identity required).
- By allowing badge scans by exhibitors/sponsors, you consent to your contact details being shared with them.
Photography/Filming Notice:
he ISN may photograph, film, or otherwise record activities during its in-person congresses and events. These images and recordings may include participants’ likenesses and are processed under ISN’s legitimate interest in documenting and promoting its educational and scientific activities (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The resulting materials may be used by ISN to communicate news about the congress, promote future events, and share educational or professional updates. This may include publication on the ISN website, in printed or electronic communications, and on ISN’s social media channels.
Recordings will be stored securely and retained only as long as necessary for the above purposes, in accordance with ISN’s Privacy Policy.
If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please inform the photographer at the time or contact ISN at [email protected]. ISN will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, for example by avoiding identifiable shots or removing specific images upon justified request.
By entering the event premises, participants acknowledge that photography and filming may take place and that ISN may use such material as described above.
Access for minors
- Minors must be registered (no fee applies), please contact [email protected] to request the appropriate registration form.
- Each minor must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian (1 minor = 1 adult). The accompanying adult must be a registered WCN’26 attendee. Adults are fully responsible for ensuring appropriate behavior from minors. Any disruption to congress activities will not be tolerated.
- The organizers are not responsible for any content presented during the congress that may be considered unsuitable for children.
- Minors will not be admitted to the opening ceremony, plenary sessions, exhibition area, Interventional Nephrology Course, and industry sessions.
- Registered minors will be required to wear a badge or wristband (depending on age), which must include the contact information of their accompanying adult while onsite.
For group registrations only:
Profile completion
Final date for uploading delegate details is March 10, 2027. After this date, name changes or new entries will incur a USD 50 fee per participant.
Empty tickets will be cancelled without refund.
IMPORTANT: The group leader is responsible for ensuring that their group members are not already registered (individually or through another group). No refunds will be issued for duplicate registrations resulting from a failure to verify registration status.
Onsite badge and material collection
The group leader (or authorized representative) must collect all badges and congress materials for the group.
Distribution to individual members is the group leader’s responsibility.
