@ISNEducation Social Media Team Members
The ISN welcomes expressions of interest/nominations for the positions of members of the @ISNEducation Social Media Team. The members will start at the World Congress of Nephrology 2026 (WCN’26).
About the @ISNEducation Social Media Team
The @ISNEducation Social Media Team brings together kidney care and healthcare professionals from all around the world to provide online education with a particular focus on social media. Together, they develop podcasts, case discussions, tweetorials, X (formerly Twitter) Spaces, tweetchats, live- posting from webinars and conferences, visual abstracts, video abstracts, quizzes and much more. They work closely with, and are supervised by, the ISN Education Working Group to ensure that all activities are fully aligned with the ISN overall education strategy.
The role
As an @ISNEducation Social Media Team Member, you will need to:
- Read and observe the Terms of References of the @ISNEducation Social Media Team, the Program application guidelines and the @ISNEducation Social Media Team user manual.
- Actively engage in social media with other @ISNEducation Social Media Team members and WCN Social Media Team members, supporting groups to maximize synergies and strategic planning, and get their support in disseminating our educational offerings.
- Participate in meetings.
- Develop and coordinate educational materials guided by the @ISNEducation Social Media Team Chair and Deputy Chair.
Selection criteria
- Engaged with social media for at least 3 years
- Ability to cover meetings, webinars or similar in X
- Familiar with visual abstracts and ability to develop them
- Interest in conducting interviews
- ISN member in good standing
- In particular, we welcome applicants:
- from the ISN regions of Africa, NIS and Russia, North and East Asia, and Western Europe
- from low-income countries
- Email accessible and able to regularly connect to conference calls
