Call for expressions of interest/nominations for
ISN Renal Pathology Working Group Members

The ISN welcomes expressions of interest/nominations for the position of member of the ISN Renal Pathology Working Group. The members will start at the World Congress of Nephrology 2026 (WCN’26).

About the ISN Renal Pathology Working Group

The Renal Pathology Working Group aims to build on the expertise of ISN to bridge gaps in renal pathology expertise and provision throughout the world. The Working Group seeks to do this by fostering inter- and intra-regional knowledge and resource exchange.

The ISN and the Renal Pathology Working Group share the goal of advancing nephrology in low, lower-middle- and upper-middle-income countries.

The role

  • Support the development of renal pathology in low-, lower-middle- and upper-middle-income countries.
  • Seek partnerships with any organization that may help achieve its goals and that are aligned with the ISN’s and Renal Pathology Working Group’s Mission and Objectives.

Selection criteria

  • Interest in and prior experience in the field of renal pathology and/or renal pathology-related work of the ISN
  • ISN member in good standing
  • In particular, we welcome applicants:
    • from the ISN regions of Latin America, North and East Asia, and Oceania and South East Asia (OSEA)
    • from low-income countries
    • aged 40 and younger
  • Email accessible and able to regularly connect to conference calls
  • Apply by 5 p.m. CEST, Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
