- 1 a.m. CET
This session will explore the critical intersection between diabetes and kidney health, emphasizing early detection and management of diabetic kidney disease. Participants will learn about the pathophysiology of diabetic nephropathy, emerging diagnostic approaches, and treatment modalities. The seminar will also highlight global perspectives on prevention, multidisciplinary care, and patient education to reduce the burden of kidney complications in people living with diabetes. We aim to empower primary care providers to identify early diabetic kidney disease and initiate evidence-based therapies and promote timely and appropriate referral to nephrology.
