Calendar of Events – ISN Stakeholders

Co-hosted by the Taiwan Society of Acute Kidney Disease, CRRT, INC., and the Taiwan Society of Nephrology, the 7th Asia Pacific AKI CRRT Congress 2026 will take place over three days. With the theme, “Rethinking AKI Care: Real-World Data, Personalized Strategies, Better Recovery,” the congress will feature a program of high-quality scientific sessions and educational content. In addition to plenary lectures, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and poster sessions in the field of critical care nephrology, AKI and CRRT, the congress will highlight special issues such as:

• Big data and AI for AKI prediction and management
• Acute kidney disease (AKD): bridging AKI to long-term kidney health
• Resilience and sustainability in critical care nephrology
• Integrating biomarkers and technology for personalized AKI management

Hosted by the Kenya Renal Association, KRACON 2026 is the annual scientific meeting. This year’s theme is, “Kidney Health: Beyond Nephrology.” The conference will provide updates on various aspects of kidney care and will provide a networking forum for kidney care providers from different centers, regions, and countries. Sub themes of the conference will be:

• Vision 2030 in kidney disease; are we there yet?
• Improving access to kidney health services
• Obtaining and utilizing data for kidney health
• Precision nephrology: every individual matters
• Kidney in dialogue with other organs

Hosted by the Singapore Society of Nephrology, the 16th annual scientific meeting will consist of a half-day pre-congress workshop followed by the 1.5-day main congress scientific program. With the theme “Advancing Nephrology Care: Integrating Technology, Therapy, and Nutrition,” this year’s program will include symposia and scientific sessions across key areas such as chronic kidney disease, dialysis, transplantation, and interventional nephrology, covering topics such as dialysis modalities, transplant care, and vascular access management. There will be two separate tracks to engage physicians and allied health participants across various subspecialties and interests, providing updates on the latest developments in the realm of nephrology.

The Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation, together with Tashkent State Medical University and the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers, invites physicians, scientists, researchers, medical-university lecturers, healthcare specialists, and representatives of professional associations and international organizations to take part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Healthy Kidneys – for All".
The conference will be held on 25–26 September 2026 in Tashkent (AZIMUT Grand Hotel) in an in-person format with the participation of international experts.
The main goal of the conference is to discuss current scientific and practical advances in nephrology, hemodialysis, kidney transplantation, digital healthcare, and artificial intelligence, as well as to exchange leading international experience in organizing nephrology care for the population. Specialists from Uzbekistan, Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and other regions of the world are invited to participate.

The International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis & the South African Nephrology Society invite you to attend the 18th International Congress of the Society to be held in Cape Town from September 29 through October 3, 2026, the first Congress to be held in Africa. They welcome the full range of health professionals to participate in the Congress. The program is geared to serve the entire multidisciplinary team involved in the care of patients undergoing PD around the world – physicians, advanced health practitioners, nurses, dietitians, and social workers.

Organized by the ISN Sister Renal Center UCL Centre for Kidney and Bladder Health, this four day online course provides an update on renal transplantation for nephrology clinicians, renal transplant surgeons, and allied health care professionals involved in renal transplant care. Attendees will learn about the clinical aspects of kidney transplants from donor and recipient selection to surgical and medical management post-transplant.

The course will help attendees understand how to assess kidney donors and recipients, the critical features of surgical transplantation, tissue typing, and the medical management of transplantation and its complications. Attendees will also be able to evaluate real cases of donor and recipient assessment, cross matching, and infectious complications of transplantation.

The annual conference of Tanta Nephrology Unit, Egypt, an ISN Sister Renal Center, will deliver the updated knowledge from different experts of several medical centers from inside and outside Egypt in the field of nephrology, dialysis, and transplantation. Objectives of the conference:

• Deliver practical nephrology training to young nephrologists
• Introduce expertise from several medical centers
• Discuss the updated recent knowledge in the field of nephrology and transplantation

The 18th Egyptian Annual Dialysis Conference is organized by the Nephrology Department of Ain Shams University and the Egyptian Society of Nephrology and Transplantation (ESNT). This year’s conference will cover recent advances in hemodialysis and HDF therapy, anemia and CKD-MBD management, and more.

Organized by the ISN Sister Renal Center trio of Tra Vinh Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital, and Westmead Hospital, this CME activity will provide updates in clinical nephrology for clinicians and nurses who care for patients with kidney diseases at the provincial hospitals. Topics covered will be chronic kidney disease (from screening to management different stages of CKD), acute kidney disease (diagnosis and therapy), hemodialysis, vascular access care, and more. Speakers will be from all three hospitals.

By encouraging a methodical and equitable approach to pediatric RRT and placing a strong emphasis on practical training and standardized protocols for medical practitioners, this conference seeks to close these gaps. Community pediatricians, new graduates, postgraduate students, nephrologists, and nurses are among the target participants. Given the lack of CRRT facilities, the emphasis is on the significance and usefulness of hemodialysis and peritoneal therapy. The initiative aims to improve RRT delivery for children with severe AKI by improving knowledge and skills through this training course and seminars.

Organized under the auspices of the Balkan Cities Association for Nephrology, Dialysis, Transplantation and Artificial Organs (BANTAO), the 21st BANTAO Congress 2026 will take place over three days. The congress will bring together nephrologists, transplant physicians, dialysis specialists, researchers, and allied healthcare professionals from the Balkan region and around the world to provide an international forum for scientific exchange, professional education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The scientific program will include keynote lectures, state-of-the-art sessions, symposia, interactive case discussions, oral and poster presentations covering the latest advances in kidney transplantation, hypertension and diabetes, glomerular and tubulointerstitial diseases, chronic kidney diseases, acute kidney injury, critical care nephrology, and renal replacement therapy. Through lectures, interactive sessions, and expert-led discussions, participants will gain practical knowledge that can be translated into improved patient care and better clinical outcomes. The congress also aims to inspire future research collaborations and contribute to advancing kidney health across the Balkan region and beyond.

Organized by the Italian Society of Nephrology (Società Italiana di Nefrologia [SIN]), the four-day annual meeting is the highlight of SIN’s annual agenda. The meeting aims to update and discuss new issues and technologies among all the professionals operating in and close to the field of nephrology. The scientific agenda will cover themes such as translational nephrology, clinical nephrology, AKI, CKD, and transplant.

Hosted by Mexican Institute of Nephrological Research (IMIN), the 73rd International Congress of Nephrology (IMIN Week 2026) will take place over 5 days. The motto inspiring this year’s meeting is, “Changing paradigms. Transforming nephrology.” The week will begin with the 'Chronic Kidney Disease Course 2026: What every first contact doctor should know,' an intensive 8-hr program aimed at first contact doctors. Next, the 'Course Update Me 2026: The essential in nephrology that changes clinical practice,' will cover advances that are modifying clinical practice. The traditional Pre-Congress Courses will include workshops, clinical cases, and interactive sessions. The week’s highlight will be the IMIN 2026 International Congress, a forum designed to share knowledge, encourage the exchange of experiences and generate new collaborations that promote the development of nephrology in Mexico and Latin America.

The Argentine Congress of Nephrology is a scientific forum dedicated to advancing education, diagnosis,prevention, and treatment of kidney diseases. The event fosters the exchange of knowledge and clinicalexperience among nephrology professionals. Physicians and specialists from across Latin America will participate,promoting regional collaboration and the latest updates in nephrological research and clinical practice.

This is the second international conference of the Malian Society of Nephrology, whose goal is to promote kidney care for all.
The event will feature lectures led by international experts, hands-on workshops on peritoneal dialysis, nursing sessions, and roundtable discussions on initiatives to launch kidney transplantation in sub-Saharan Africa.

Organized by the Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation (ASNRT) and the Ministry of Health of Kuwait, the three-day congress will include discussions of the latest technologies and therapeutic aspects developed for chronic kidney disease, including kidney transplantation, updated dialysis modalities, and the most common types of glomerulonephritis.

Organized by the Nephrology Department of the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), the 3-day conference will include presentations given by renowned local, regional, and international speakers from Europe and North America. The sessions will cover:

The objectives of the conference are to provide an update on the different disciplines for nephrology including general nephrology, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplantation, and to discuss cutting edge knowledge in nephrology. The conference is targeted to nephrologists with different subspecialities, physicians, general practitioners, and nurses with interest in kidney medicine.

The Pakistan Society of Nephrology and the PD Academy of Pakistan are proud to announce the 3rd International PD Conference, taking place in Lahore, Pakistan from 29–31 January 2027.
The conference program focuses on advancing Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and renal supportive care, with a strong emphasis on improving accessibility to kidney care, fostering innovation, and promoting patient-centered treatment approaches. The event will bring together international and regional experts, healthcare professionals, nurses, and researchers to share practical knowledge, clinical experience, and emerging strategies in nephrology and dialysis care.
Key highlights of the conference include:

• Hands-on workshops on peritoneal dialysis techniques and renal supportive care service development;
• Scientific sessions and expert lectures covering topics such as PD innovation, dialysis access, catheter placement, nutrition in chronic kidney disease, anemia management, infection prevention, palliative care, and mental health in dialysis patients;
• Clinical case discussions and abstract presentations showcasing current research, local experiences, and best practices in kidney care;
• A strong focus on multidisciplinary care, featuring contributions from nephrologists, nurses, dietitians, and mental health professionals;
• Discussions on expanding dialysis services in resource-limited settings and improving outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease;
• Interactive activities including debates, Q&A sessions, and collaborative nursing forums designed to encourage knowledge exchange and practical learning.

The Short Course on Peritoneal Dialysis is designed to prepare registered nurses (associate degree or bachelor’s degree in nursing) with specialized knowledge, skills, and competence in providing peritoneal dialysis to patients with kidney failure. It also equips them to educate, train, and counsel patients and caregivers on various aspects of peritoneal dialysis therapy.

The course will be provided over four weeks, including onsite structured theory and supervised skill training in the PD unit of Christian Medical College, Vellore. Two sessions will take place in 2027.

First session: February 2-28, 2027
Second session: September 1-29, 2027

The 1st International Congress of Nephrology of Togo, organized by the Société Togolaise de Néphrologie (SOTONEPH), will bring together national and international nephrologists, internists, general practitioners, residents, nurses and allied health professionals around the theme, “Chronic kidney disease in the era of universal health coverage.” The scientific program includes plenary lectures, symposia, oral communications ,and interactive workshops over three days.Objectives of the congress are:
