Calendar of Events – ISN Stakeholders

The 20th International Congress of Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation (ICNDT 20th), organized by the Iranian Society of Nephrology, will be a 3-day scientific meeting consisting of 6 plenary lectures by invited experts, ~60 scientific lectures and presentations, oral presentation from submitted abstracts, 30 poster presentations, interactive scientific sessions, 2 workshops, and more. Objectives of the congress are to:

• Bring together nephrologists and members of the nephrology sssociation from across Iran to exchange knowledge, experiences, and professional perspectives
• Facilitate the sharing of expertise and experiences among colleagues, with particular emphasis on the contributions of nephrologists practicing in cities outside the capital
• Facilitate constructive scientific discussions and generate ideas for future scientific, educational, and research-oriented initiatives
• Provide a platform for nephrologists from across Iran to engage in scientific dialogue and knowledge exchange with colleagues from the region and from countries with advanced expertise in the field

Organized by the Italian Society of Nephrology (Società Italiana di Nefrologia [SIN]), the four-day annual meeting is the highlight of SIN’s annual agenda. The meeting aims to update and discuss new issues and technologies among all the professionals operating in and close to the field of nephrology. The scientific agenda will cover themes such as translational nephrology, clinical nephrology, AKI, CKD, and transplant.

Hosted by Mexican Institute of Nephrological Research (IMIN), the 73rd International Congress of Nephrology (IMIN Week 2026) will take place over 5 days. The motto inspiring this year’s meeting is, “Changing paradigms. Transforming nephrology.” The week will begin with the 'Chronic Kidney Disease Course 2026: What every first contact doctor should know,' an intensive 8-hr program aimed at first contact doctors. Next, the 'Course Update Me 2026: The essential in nephrology that changes clinical practice,' will cover advances that are modifying clinical practice. The traditional Pre-Congress Courses will include workshops, clinical cases, and interactive sessions. The week’s highlight will be the IMIN 2026 International Congress, a forum designed to share knowledge, encourage the exchange of experiences and generate new collaborations that promote the development of nephrology in Mexico and Latin America.

The 29th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society of Nephrology (CCSN 2026), hosted by the Chinese Medical Association and its Nephrology Branch, and organized by the Shanghai Medical Association and its Nephrology Branch, will be held in Shanghai from November 17-21, 2026. The CCSN Annual Meeting is the largest and most influential academic event in the field of nephrology in China, providing an excellent platform for professionals in nephrology medical treatment, nursing, research, teaching, and engineering to understand the latest developments and advancements in nephrology research, strengthen domestic and international academic exchanges, cultivate clinical thinking, enhance research capabilities, improve medical quality, and raise service levels. It also offers a valuable opportunity for attendees to learn about cutting-edge nephrology diagnosis and treatment, showcase the latest research findings, exchange experiences, and collaborate.
CCSN 2026 will facilitate comprehensive and multi-level in-depth exchanges on the basic and clinical research progress of nephrology and related disciplines at home and abroad through various forms such as plenary reports, special lectures, clinical case collections, continuing medical education courses, and international academic exchanges. The aim is to improve the level of kidney health maintenance and the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and management of kidney diseases, and promote the development of nephrology in China.

The Argentine Congress of Nephrology is a scientific forum dedicated to advancing education, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of kidney diseases. The event fosters the exchange of knowledge and clinical experience among nephrology professionals. Physicians and specialists from across Latin America will participate, promoting regional collaboration and the latest updates in nephrological research and clinical practice.

This is the second international conference of the Malian Society of Nephrology, whose goal is to promote kidney care for all.
The event will feature lectures led by international experts, hands-on workshops on peritoneal dialysis, nursing sessions, and roundtable discussions on initiatives to launch kidney transplantation in sub-Saharan Africa.

Organized by the Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation (ASNRT) and the Ministry of Health of Kuwait, the three-day congress will include discussions of the latest technologies and therapeutic aspects developed for chronic kidney disease, including kidney transplantation, updated dialysis modalities, and the most common types of glomerulonephritis.

The congress is organized 40 years after the first nephrology activities in Gabon in July 1986. It will lead to a proposal for a national renal health promotion program for 2027–2032.

The Teaching Course will feature the participation of prominent pediatric nephrologists from renowned centers and referral programs in Chile, Colombia, the United States, and Germany, including experts from academic institutions in Cincinnati, Philadelphia, and Miami. Their participation will bring an international and multidisciplinary perspective, facilitate the sharing of experiences from diverse healthcare systems, and provide professionals in the region with access to current knowledge, strategies, and practices in pediatric nephrology.

Organized by the Nephrology Department of the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), the 3-day conference will include presentations given by renowned local, regional, and international speakers from Europe and North America. The sessions will cover:

• General nephrology – different modalities of dialysis
• Vasculitis and glomerulonephritis – acute kidney injury
• Pediatric nephrology – kidney transplantation
• Pregnancy and kidney disease
• Kidney histopathology
• Workshops for hands-on dialysis techniques

The objectives of the conference are to provide an update on the different disciplines for nephrology including general nephrology, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplantation, and to discuss cutting edge knowledge in nephrology. The conference is targeted to nephrologists with different subspecialities, physicians, general practitioners, and nurses with interest in kidney medicine.

Organized by the Pakistan Society of Nephrology (PSN) in collaboration with Pakistan Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (PKDIN), the Institute of Kidney Disease will hold the two-day workshop combining lectures with hands-on training.

The Pakistan Society of Nephrology and the PD Academy of Pakistan are proud to announce the 3rd International PD Conference, taking place in Lahore, Pakistan from 29–31 January 2027.
The conference program focuses on advancing Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and renal supportive care, with a strong emphasis on improving accessibility to kidney care, fostering innovation, and promoting patient-centered treatment approaches. The event will bring together international and regional experts, healthcare professionals, nurses, and researchers to share practical knowledge, clinical experience, and emerging strategies in nephrology and dialysis care.
Key highlights of the conference include:

• Hands-on workshops on peritoneal dialysis techniques and renal supportive care service development;
• Scientific sessions and expert lectures covering topics such as PD innovation, dialysis access, catheter placement, nutrition in chronic kidney disease, anemia management, infection prevention, palliative care, and mental health in dialysis patients;
• Clinical case discussions and abstract presentations showcasing current research, local experiences, and best practices in kidney care;
• A strong focus on multidisciplinary care, featuring contributions from nephrologists, nurses, dietitians, and mental health professionals;
• Discussions on expanding dialysis services in resource-limited settings and improving outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease;
• Interactive activities including debates, Q&A sessions, and collaborative nursing forums designed to encourage knowledge exchange and practical learning.

The Short Course on Peritoneal Dialysis is designed to prepare registered nurses (associate degree or bachelor’s degree in nursing) with specialized knowledge, skills, and competence in providing peritoneal dialysis to patients with kidney failure. It also equips them to educate, train, and counsel patients and caregivers on various aspects of peritoneal dialysis therapy.

The course will be provided over four weeks, including onsite structured theory and supervised skill training in the PD unit of Christian Medical College, Vellore. Two sessions will take place in 2027.

First session: February 2-28, 2027
Second session: September 1-29, 2027

The 1st International Congress of Nephrology of Togo, organized by the Société Togolaise de Néphrologie (SOTONEPH), will bring together national and international nephrologists, internists, general practitioners, residents, nurses and allied health professionals around the theme, “Chronic kidney disease in the era of universal health coverage.” The scientific program includes plenary lectures, symposia, oral communications ,and interactive workshops over three days.Objectives of the congress are:

• Raise awareness of the burden of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in Togo and West Africa
• Strengthen the clinical and scientific skills of nephrologists, physicians, and allied health professionals in the prevention, early detection, and management of CKD
