My journey and work with the ISN began when I became a member in 2007, and later through my participation in several ISN committees, initiatives, and leadership roles. ISN through its different programs for young nephrologists from LMIC like the Fellowship and the Sister Renal Centers programs has provided me with the nephrology training that has allowed me to improve the standard of care of patients with kidney disease, and to develop an academic and research career.
