Call for Expressions of Interest and Nominations

The ISN welcomes expressions of interest and nominations for the position of Deputy Chair of the ISN Interventional Nephrology Working Group, succeeding Anil Agarwal who will become Chair of the Committee in replacement of Yong-Soo Kim, at the ISN World Congress of Nephrology 2021 (WCN’21).

The ISN Interventional Nephrology Working Group commits to understanding the concrete needs of interventional nephrology and other resources to support interventional nephrology, recognizing that they may be different in each region of the world, in order to agree on activities that are relevant and have optimal impact.

At the end of their term, the Deputy Chair is then expected to succeed the Chair. There is no honorarium attached to this role. ISN staff provide operational support to the Program, and the Chair and Deputy Chair are supported by a committee with regional representation which contributes to review and approval of submitted proposals.

The main work of the Interventional Nephrology Working Group is the recording of online courses for the ISN Academy and the online scoring of Interventional Nephrology Regional Training Center applications once a year (deadline is on October 1) and of Interventional Nephrology scholarship applications (deadline is on May 1). The ISN Interventional Nephrology Working Group ordinarily has a face-to-face meeting at the WCN and/or American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week.
