Meet the Saving Young Lives representatives in Dakar

This year, Saving Young Lives (SYL) project representatives from Western Africa will meet in Dakar from December 5 to 7, 2015, during the first International course on dialysis in Western Africa.

More than 250 attendees are expected to attend the first Dialysis conference, organized by the Senegalese Society of Nephrology. The course will tackle both peritoneal and hemodialysis. One session will be entirely devoted to the SYL project. Representatives from Ghana, Cameroon, Benin, Ivory Coast and Nigeria will meet to discuss the challenges and opportunities of setting up a programs for treating acute kidney injury (AKI) in Western Africa.
