ISN-GKHA (Atlas): Findings and Policy Implications for Europe and for the Americas

  • 1:00 PM CET

Approximately 850 million people are affected by CKD worldwide. The global burden of kidney failure is significant due to high treatment costs and extensive impacts on the health and well-being of people living with kidney disease. The ISN–Global Kidney Health Atlas (ISN–GKHA) uncovered large variations in access to treatment and characteristics of treatment delivery (e.g., quality indicators, funding mechanisms) across ISN regions and World Bank income groups. This webinar explores the extent of gaps in provision and access to kidney care across countries in Europe and the Americas.

Learning objectives:

  1. To understand the scope of ISN-GKHA findings in Europe and the Americas
  2. To understand the extent and existing gaps in provision and access to kidney care across country income groups in Europe and the Americas
  3. To highlight the policy implications for ISN-GKHA for countries in these regions
