Dr Samantha Bateman is a nephrologist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia. Her clinical and research interests focus on the co-creation and implementation of culturally safe, community-governed models of kidney care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Through the ISN Emerging Leaders Program, she aims to advance collaborative, evidence-based initiatives that strengthen access, equity, and outcomes in kidney care for First Nations communities globally.
