Urinary tract infections, including cystitis and pyelonephritis, is a commonand serious bacterial infection encountered in pediatric and adult clinicalpractices. The scope of these webinar is to define the pathophysiology ofurinary tractinfections in children and adults. In doing so, clinical riskfactors for UTI will be defined in children and adults. Additionally, the roleof the immune system in preventing urinary tract infections will bedescribe
