CME on the importance of renal registries

ISN Educational Ambassador Razeen Davids and several ISN Fellows took part in a Continuing Medical Education Course on data gathering and the importance of renal registries. Following the workshop, and discussions at the World Congress of Nephrology, there are now plans to establish an African Renal Registry.

This group has already been involved in several ISN Program activities including an ISN Educational Ambassador visit to Korle Bu hospital in Ghana. CLICK HERE to read more.

This workshop took place just before the World Congress of Nephrology and was supported by South African Renal Society, and African Association of Nephrology. Over 40 delegates took part from 11 African countries as well as New Zealand and Brazil.

Topics focused on everything from how to run a renal registry, what to do with data, benchmarking and statistical analysis.
