ISN Webinar: Endpoint selection and statistical considerations for Innovative Trials: Preparatory Webinar for the WCN’26 Clinical Trials Pre-Course
- 11 AM CET
This webinar is a preparatory module for the Clinical Trials Pre-Course at WCN’26. This webinar will address outcome selection and analysis for innovative clinical trials focusing on Patient Reported Outcomes (PROMS), composite and hierarchical outcomes. Subthemes will include how to select the right PROMs, considering relevance, validity and ceiling effect and floor effect. The advantages and challenges of selecting and analysing composite and hierarchical outcomes will be discussed including important statistical methods such as win ratio.
Learning objectives:
- To gain an understanding of the value, selection and analysis of PROMs in clinical trials.
- To gain an understanding of the value of composite and hierarchical endpoints to increase efficiency and relevance of clinical trials.
- To understand the specific statistical approaches of hierarchical endpoints+
