ISN Joins the European Kidney Health Alliance
The ISN has joined the European Kidney Health Alliance (EKHA), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to developing concrete solutions to the challenges posed by Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in Europe.
Joining the EKHA further enhances ISN’s ability to raise awareness of CKD’s severity and prevalence as a social and economic burden to patients and society within Europe.
The ISN will work alongside the EKHA to highlight the difficulties of CKD patients in Europe undergoing dialysis during the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure that the European Union supports priority vaccinations for this category.
The ISN will also work closely with the EKHA on the “Decade of the Kidney” initiative, aiming to promote better conditions for kidney patients in Europe.
