ISN Grants and Capacity-building Programs: Key Events at WCN’25

WCN’25 will showcase the impact of ISN Grants Programs on global kidney care. From 40 years of ISN Fellowship success stories to interactive sessions on artificial intelligence, renal pathology, and community engagement, the congress highlights these programs’ achievements and ongoing contributions toward advancing nephrology practice worldwide.

40 Years of ISN Fellowships

2025 marks the 40th anniversary of this flagship ISN Grants Program. Over four decades, ISN Fellowships have supported more than 800 early-career nephrologists from low-resource settings, providing essential training toward improved kidney care in their home countries.

Join the celebrations throughout the congress, and don’t miss the centerpiece: the “40 Years, 40 Stories” wall at the ISN Booth. This feature will showcase inspiring journeys of ISN Fellows and their mentors, offering a fascinating glimpse into the program’s profound impact over the years.

Spotlight Sessions

The WCN’25 Spotlight Stages host dynamic sessions in open theatres located in the Exhibition Hall (Level 6) and the Amphitheatre, ISN Agora (Level 5). These vibrant spaces host activities ranging from the Young Nephrology Quiz-a-thon to the ISN Programs Awards ceremony and the announcement of the ISN Community Film Event winners.

The ISN Grants Programs Spotlight Sessions will highlight achievements from the Emerging Leaders, Fellowships, and Sister Renal Centers Grants Programs and provide insights into how to get involved.
