Open to all, this year-long online course covers the main principles and practices of nephropathology. If you are a pathologist or nephrologist living in a low-or lower-middle-income country, you get free tuition fees and priority access when you apply.

Looking to improve your skills in this field of study? The course will help you:

• Identify the key principles in preparing kidney biopsy material, review different staining techniques and understand their purpose
• Apply what you learn about different patterns of renal injury observed in histopathologic specimens in classifying syndromes of nephron injury and use this knowledge in your management of patients with renal disease
• Use newly-gained knowledge of acute kidney injury, autoimmune renal disease, diabetic kidney disease, genetic renal disease, hepatorenal syndrome, and pregnancy-related renal disease to infer pathophysiologic mechanisms and apply them when managing your patients
• Use the latest information about kidney pathology to better care for your patients.

The program starts in January 2019. It includes over 40 recorded online lectures and 12 live monthly webinars. To receive the certificate, you must attend more than 75% of the live webinars and pass a mid-year and a final exam.

Tuition Fees are $495.00USD. These fees are waived for trainees in MD, DNB, DM, or PhD programs from low-and lower-middle-income countries. You can complete and submit the application form online before October 31, 2018.
