The Social Media Task Force dedicated to online coverage of WCN 2017

During the ISN World Congress of Nephrology, from the Genius Bar at the ISN exhibition booth, a specially-assigned Social Media Task helped us to livestream some 80 congress sessions on social media. Showing great enthusiasm and a true passion for nephrology, they made highlights from the congress available to those unable to join us in Mexico City.

Many thanks to this amazing team of nephrologists who dedicated their time to make this task a wonderful success! We couldn’t have done it without you. You helped us share some great video interviews via Facebook and YouTube as well as report on the Poster Exhibition.

Throughout the congress, some 798 participants shared and composed 7838 tweets. The @ISNKidneyCare account gained 208 followers after producing 248 tweets during the five day conference, and was visited 7219 times. The @WCN2017 account gained 284 followers from 915 tweets composed during the congress and was visited 13,700 times. Out of 915 tweets composed, the @WCN2017 account earned 1,700 likes.
