Newly Selected ISN Fellows Welcomed in Online Meeting by ISN Program Leaders and Coordinators

Fellowship Program leaders, ISN Program coordinators, and ISN Fellows from different countries get to know each other in a virtual meet-up

In October, ISN Fellowship Program Chair Ikechi Okpechi, South Africa, and Deputy Chair Rümeyza Turan Kazancioglu, Turkey, welcomed the latest group of ISN Fellows.

This virtual meet-up, the first of its kind within the ISN Fellowship Program, enabled Fellowship Program leaders, ISN Program coordinators, and ISN Fellows from different countries to get to know each other to provide ongoing, mutual support and encouragement.

Fellows learned what to expect from their fellowships, how to get the most out of their training, and the benefits of engaging with the ISN community during training and beyond.

The long-term value of the ISN Fellowship Program was recently highlighted in an article reporting on a past fellows’ involvement in the first live donor kidney transplant to take place in Cameroon.
