Results From the iNET-CKD Study on Hemoglobin in Global CKD Populations Published in Kidney International Reports®

The “Regional Variation in Hemoglobin Distribution Among Individuals With CKD: the ISN International Network of CKD Cohorts” study, led by ISN iNET-CKD* investigators, addresses anemia’s global prevalence in people living with chronic kidney disease (CKD).

Read the manuscript here.

Current guidelines suggest a uniform hemoglobin (Hb) range for all people with CKD, but this research examines Hb predictors and distribution in international pre-dialysis CKD populations.

The study employs a two-stage meta-analysis of cross-sectional data from ISN iNET-CKD cohorts.
