We have joined forces with the American Nephrologists of Indian Origin (ANIO) to bring you the Clinical Nephropathology Certificate Program.

This year-long online course is open to all and covers the main principles and practices of nephropathology. If you are a pathologist or nephrologist, living in a low- and middle-income country, you get free tuition fees and priority access when you apply. Applications are open until November 15, 2017

Looking to improve your skills in this field of study?

The course will help you:

  • Identify key principles when you are preparing kidney biopsy material, reviewing different staining techniques and understanding their purpose
  • Apply what you learn about different patterns of renal injury observed in histopathologic specimens, classify syndromes of nephron injury and integrate them into your clinical presentations
  • Use newly-gained information on acute kidney injury, autoimmune renal disease, diabetic kidney disease, genetic renal disease, hepatorenal syndrome and pregnancy-related renal disease to gather pathophysiologic mechanisms and apply them when managing your patients
  • Make use of the latest knowledge about kidney pathology to better manage your patients.

The program starts on January 1st, 2018. It includes over 40 recorded online lectures and 12 live monthly webinars. To get the certificate, you are required to attend all the live webinars, pass several short quizzes and a final exam.

Tuition Fees cost USD 495.00. These fees are waived for trainees in MD, DNB, DM or PhD from low- and middle-income countries. You can complete and submit the application form online before November 15, 2017.

If you are a trainee, you must also submit a proof of training and a letter of endorsement from your Chair of Department chair.
