Landmarks in Nephrology points the reader to some of the seminal observations which have led to the practice of nephrology as we know it today. There are 20 chapters, with 10 landmark papers selected in each chapter to give a broad overview of the history of nephrology.

The book includes abstracts from original papers, with succinct commentaries from the editors to show how the original authors summarized their work, alongside a current view of its significance. One double page for each paper and commentary makes the book easy to browse as well as read in detail.
